Pico do Arieiro on 1800 metrin korkeudessa. Vuoristolevadan alku vaikuttaa helpolta, mutta reitti muuttui nopeasti minulle täysin mahdottomaksi, koska olen korkeanpaikankammoinen. - Pico do Arieiro is 2 km above sea level. The beginning of the levada looked easy but it became so difficult that I had to turn back because I have a fear of heights.

Tämän kapean käytävän molemmin puolin on 2 km pudotus. Nuo ohuet langat eivät todellakaan estä putoamista. Suomessa ei ikinä päästettäisi ihmisiä tällaiselle reitille. - There's a 2 km drop on either side of this walkway and those strings are not gonna stop you from falling.
